With nearly 20 years in the bicycle and fitness equipment industries, Joe Travers brings to the table a well-rounded professional perspective. From Mechanical Engineer designing products to head of Product Quality ensuring manufacturing process and sourcing excellence, Joe has a wide spectrum of technical experience. Then, from technical field service training to being an avid user of bicycle and fitness equipment, Joe can also relate well with the plaintiff’s side of a product liabilities claim. Joe has provided testimony and sat as the most knowledgeable defense party on over 30 depositions and mediations in 6 litigations in the states of California, New York, and Florida as well as well as internationally in Hong Kong.
Aside from the product liabilities world, Joe has also been contracted for his Mechanical Engineering duties in the automotive, consumer goods, and medical device industries.
Joe is a 2002 graduate of California State University, Long Beach with his B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology. Joe is currently pursuing his LSS Green Belt and ASQ CMQ/OE certifications.
During college and after graduation, Joe was employed as a Mechanical Designer then Mechanical Engineer in the bicycle industry for Profile Design & Primo Products. He later transitioned into the fitness industry in 2005 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer for Unisen, Inc DBA Star Trac. Joe currently serves as the Vice President of Quality for Core Health & Fitness, LLC which is headquartered in Vancouver, WA.
